I have been practising dentistry for over 12 years.
I have a caring and gentle approach to patients ; taking their concerns and requests seriously to ensure that my patients are well looked after by myself and staff at Down House Dental Practice.
I have a special interest in cosmetic dentistry as I believe changing peoples’ smiles is one important step towards changing their lives. Examples are changing metal or badly looking fillings or crowns into nicer looking restorations to improve the way people smile and to increase their self esteem and confidence.
I am also looking currently to embark on courses in facial aesthetics and braces treatment.
I continuously keep my knowledge up to do by attending courses in dentistry.
Dr Ian R GoldsmithPosition: Principal Dentist Qualification: BDS (Birm) GDC Number: 65901
Ian qualified from Birmingham University Dental School in 1990 and has worked in Sussex since then. He became the Practice Principal in January 1999, and has overseen the expansion and reequipping of the Practice, and another surgery, whilst managing an increase in surgery hours and associated staffing Ian is a silver provider of Invisalign, having had a keen interest in this area of dentistry for several years. Dr Ian R Goldsmith has been credited with Invisalign Gold provider status. Such a prestigious ranking is only awarded to those who complete a substantial amount of Invisalign cases each year.
He is married to Gill and they have two children Luke and Ellie. He lives in Buxted East Sussex. He enjoys gardening, travel and spending time with his family.
James KlieberPosition: Implantologist
James places all the dental implants at Excellence in Dentistry Ltd. In addition to being an award-winning dentist, he is also a key opinion leader for Nobel Biocare, teaches dentists how to place and restore implants at Implant Courses UK and The Esthetic Alliance Programs, and is frequently published in leading industry magazines.
James has also taught at Guy’s Hospital in London, is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), and has extensive experience in the management of dental implants and aesthetic dentistry.
He enjoys putting his artistic eye to his skills as a dentist to produce fantastic results and excels with patients of a nervous disposition.
In his spare time, James likes to keep very active and enjoys golf and fencing. Reading is one of his passions and he has even begun writing his own novel.
Tesh ChudasamaPosition: Dental Hygienist Qualification: Cert HE - Dental Nursing 2013, Dip - Dental Hygiene and Therapy 2017 GDC Number: 248149
Tesh joined Down House Dental Practice in January 2018 and freshly qualified from Queen Mary University of London (The Royal London Dental Hospital) in 2017 for Dental Hygiene and Therapy.
He splits his professional time between several practices and is dedicated to helping patient’s improve their oral health with a big emphasis on prevention. Tesh is particularly interested in treating nervous patients, providing the best standard of care in a calm approach to make treatment as comfortable as possible.
Outside work, Tesh loves to spend as much time as possible with his family and friends as well as, travelling and running.
Caitlin DeadmanPosition: Dental Nurse Qualification: National Diploma in Dental Nursing – NEBDN GDC Number: 297022
I have a passion for ensuring all patients are confident in coming to visit the dentist/hygienist. I have a holistic approach to nursing which means I provide every patient with my best of care.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with family and friends and enjoy cooking for them.
